Oppenheimer praises New Hampshire’s vote as both the Democrat and the Republican winners are those that stands up against xenophobic anti-immigrant proposals and the defeat of those relying on this issue to boost their chances. Besides, he says, this proves the growing influence of the Hispanic citizenry even in those states with a predominantly Anglo-saxon population.
